民進黨選對會昨確認2018年地方縣市長選舉提名規則，其中非執政縣市擬採徵召方式，對此，台北市長柯文哲23日表示，「這個需要今天煩惱嗎？」
有意參選台北市長的民進黨立委姚文智指出，2014年台北市長選戰，最後民進黨沒徵召、也沒提名，是禮讓柯文哲，現在採用徵召，反而比較明確，就是黨內會做一個決定，柯文哲沒有入黨，所以「徵召是黨內要提名先做一個前提」。
媒體問到，民進黨用徵召，將有可能推派人選，是否打亂他的備戰策略？柯文哲僅說，「你們怎麼問我答案都一樣，每天做好今天的事、做好每天的事情，就是最好的準備」。
媒體追問，如果民進黨有推派人選，是否最後還是用民調來比？柯文哲表示，這個時間還早。
